The
KT is a 3-D triggering edge finder. The cylindrical stylus is
spring-mounted in the edge finder housing. When the stylus contacts the
workpiece it is deflected and a trigger signal is sent over the connecting
cable to an ND780 or POSITIP.
.The
KT edge finder allows you to set the datum quickly and easily, without
leaving marks on the workpiece.
The
counter automatically stores the exact position, taking into account the
direction of approach and the radius of the stylus.
