Single axis Stepper Motor Controller for EDM Shaped hole application

This unit features a single axis position controller, stepper motor drive, and a Mitsubishi E-Series HMI. It was supplied to an aerospace company to replace an obsolete control system on an EDM drilling machine, and is used to produce fantail shaped cooling holes in high pressure turbine blades.

 

Rotary Table for Laser Machining

This rotary table was custom designed for a Laser machining application. It was designed as an add-on to an existing machine and featured its own Mitsubishi PLC, AC servo drive system and HMI.

 

PLC Multi-axis positioning - controller for aluminium saw application

This unit features a 2-axis position controller used to drive a synchronous pair of servo motors. It uses a Mitsubishi PLC and positioning system with fibre optic coupled AC servo drives. It was supplied as a retrofit to an existing machine that is used to cut strips of aluminium honeycomb material.
